CARES Co-Founder Deceased
Eva Machele Mabry Perry joined our father in heaven on January 11th, 2006. Her services were on January 15th 2006 in Morehead Kentucky where she was raised and many family members still live. Loved by all who knew her, she was the model christian wife and mother. She had a heart so big it could encompass everyone. There was never anything phony about Eva, she was genuine in everything she did. She will be sorely missed by those who are left here. She is survived by her husband, Jeff Perry, two daughters- Stephanie Perry and Tiffany Joyner, three sisters and her mother.
CARES is a non-profit organization that assists rescue workers and foster families with resources to help defer the costs involved in caring for these loyal and deserving companions. What started out as a drive to obtain food for rescued pets has developed into a group of resourceful and hard working individuals that have opened CARES Adoption Clinic- a family friendly no kill animal shelter and adoption clinic in Screven County. We are fundraising for this goal and still supplying rescue workers (we also have our own group of rescue workers) in a tri county area. Our goal will be to rescue as many animals as possible from the local shelter’s death row and afford them better health, love and eventually a deserving permanent home. But in order to do this we need help. I believe that everyone on some level or another could assist us; even your support or prayers can make a difference. If enough of us did something this shameful condition could eventually be righted.
